SUNY Upstate Medical University is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Syracuse, NY
Job Summary:
Perform diversified clerical and accounting duties such as processing of vendor payments, input of invoices, and review of open POs. Process wire transfers, journal transfers, PCard statement processing, and working closely with campus departments, Purchasing, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
Supervise Clerical Specialist to include training, task monitoring, professional development.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Associates Degree and at least 5 years’ experience in clerical functions including experience in accounting or accounts payable, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft word Software applications desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years' experience in clerical functions including experience in accounting or accounts payable.
Work Days:
8:00am - 4:30pm M-F
